Regional Development Agency Stream (Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions)
The Local Impact Stream supports community, recreational and cultural infrastructure projects requesting $1 million or less in federal funding.

  • $98 million in federal funding administered by the Government of Quebec
  • Maximum federal contribution: $1 million
  • Supports community, recreation and tourism infrastructure projects that reflect local priorities

  • Matching provincial funding
  • Supports cultural infrastructure projects selected under Quebec government programs

Water Infrastructure for Housing Program (FIERH)

Application deadline: September 18, 2026

Supported through federal funding provided to the Government of Quebec, this program helps municipalities build drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure needed to support new housing developments.

The program is intended to facilitate the construction of affordable family homes, including homes with two or more bedrooms selling for less than $350,000.

Canada Greener Affordable Homes Program

Eligible low- and moderate-income households may qualify for free energy-efficiency upgrades, including:

  • Heat pump installation
  • Window and door replacement
  • Smart thermostat installation

These upgrades help lower energy bills while improving home comfort.
